Where we are

The home of NUSTEM is Think Lab, a multi-use space in Northumbria University’s Faculty of Engineering and Environment. Think Lab doubles-up as an undergraduate teaching and project work space, and as our lab for visiting school groups, maker clubs, and more.

If you’ve booked a visit to Think Lab we’ll be in touch with full travel information. If you’re visiting Northumbria University do drop in and see us, particularly during our Tinkering Thursdays open make/explore/development sessions. If you enter the Ellison Building from Northumberland Road you’ll find signage pointing you up to the third floor.

The closest Metro stations are Manors and Monument, and parking can be found at Manors or John Dobson Street.

We’re also operating near you – in schools and at public events and festivals through the year. Watch out for an events calendar, coming to this website soon.
