At a glance

James is committed to protecting trees in different environments. He is observant and can identify diseases that a tree might have. James is organised in his approach to problem-solving. His work helps ensure trees stay healthy, which in turn helps people and animals.


Climbing high

James hobby of climbing helped him choose what career to follow. He started working as an aborist as a professional climber. His work involves checking if trees are healthy and give advice to people about them.

Now he also does work to helps builders and other companies to plan their work so that trees don’t get damaged.

James is currently studying for a bat licence which would let him get work surveying trees for bats.
