The NUSTEM Encounters initiative provides an opportunity for children to learn what industry professionals do (particularly around Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) through an interactive discussion.
The aim of the project is to increase children’s knowledge and understanding of careers in STEM and the type of roles and activities people in those careers do. It involves industry professionals answering children’s questions regarding their professional’s career or organization.
Our NUSTEM Encounters model provides a structured process that industry professionals can use to share what they do, helping children and adults to get the most out of the experience.
