We’re delighted to invite applications from Northumbria University students for an eight-week summer placement scheme. See the Word document below for details, but in brief:

• Eight week placement from 13^th June to 5^th August, full time.
• For undergraduate or integrated masters engineering students within the Faculty of Engineering and Environment at Northumbria University, about to enter their final year of study. Applications from female students are particularly welcome.
• Six-week academic- or industry-led project, developing an interactive workshop or activity for school children, followed by two weeks assisting Think Physics’ summer school activities.
• Bursary of £2400 for the 8-week placement.

We’re doing this as a quick turn-around process: applications are due by 5pm, Monday 16^th May, with interviews taking place Tuesday 24^th May.
