Year 5/6 became environmental planners and used maps to discover how finding out about the past can help us to predict the future. To find out more about environmental planners, click here. This morning Year 1 took a trip to Mars with Little E the robot rover from the book “Are we nearly there yet?”. When they got there they designed the Mars landscape and built Mars rover vehicles to explore this new world. After school some of the KS1 families became systems engineers. They designed, built, tested and improved marble runs to see who could keep the marble rolling for the longest amount of time. For similar activities to try at home, click here.
