Monday 9th May EYFS Lighting Engineers

Today Nursery and Reception have been lighting engineers, investigating light and shadows.  To make your own shadow tubes at home using only a torch, a toilet roll tube, some cling film and a small piece of paper, go to our STEM at home page.

Wednesday 23rd March and Thursday 24th March Year 4 Mechanical Engineers

3rd March 2022 Year 2 Systems Engineers

Thursday 20th March 2022 Year 5 Astronomers

This afternoon, Year 5 became astronomers and found out about the development of the telescope throughout history as well as about the role of women in astronomy. Monday 10th January EYFS Glaciologists

Today Nursery and Reception children became Glaciologists and investigated melting ice. Why not try our NUSTEM melting ice activity at home? All you need is some ice cubes and bowls to put them in.

13th December KS1 Naval Architects

Today all of the children in Years 1 and 2 became Naval Architects. They were designing, creating and testing boats, using different shapes and materials. To try this at home, go to our Naval Architects STEM at home activity, which uses only a piece of tin foil and some coins.
